Community Center
Hours:
Open 5:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Description:
The Community Room is available for rent for parties, personal functions, or meetings. We require advance notice of at least two weeks with no guarantee that specified date will be open. There is a rental fee of $200.00 and a $200.00 refundable deposit for each four hour rental of Community Room. Payment must be made with a certified check or money order. Account must be current and in good standing for rental to be approved. Management reserves the right to exercise refusal of rental of the Community Room to any resident at any time.
Rules and Regulations
1. The Community Center is for residents only. Guests are only permitted to attend parties or functions held when the Community Room is rented. The Community Center will be open during normal office hours for the resident’s enjoyment to watch movies, play games, workout, or for computer and internet usage.
2. The Fitness Center can be accessed by a key tag issued by Management after normal business hours until 10:00 p.m. and will re-open at 5:00 a.m. The Community Center is armed with a security system, which is activated at 11:00 p.m. If the alarm is set off due to a resident being in the building after hours, the police and security company will be notified, and the resident will be charged $50.00 for a false alarm. After three false alarms, you will be denied use of your key tag. Any rent or other fees that become outstanding on any resident’s account will automatically discontinue key tag use and entry will be denied until account is cleared. Management reserves the right to revoke any resident’s privileges at any time for any reason.
3. Equipment must be used in accordance with manufacturer’s directions. Any misuse of equipment is cause for immediate suspension of any use of the Community Center. Home Properties will not be liable for any injuries in the Fitness Center. All residents enter and use the Fitness Center at their own discretion.
4. No one under the age of 18 will be permitted into the Fitness Center.
5. No food or drink of any type is permitted near or in the cyber café area.
6. No one under the age of 18 will be permitted in the cyber café without an adult.
7. Misuse or abuse of the fitness equipment, computers, stereo, TV, or anything within the Community Center will be cause for automatic refusal of future entry into the Community Center. Management reserves the right to exercise this at any time.
8. Excessive noise or disruption during office hours by any resident or guest will be immediate cause for removal and privileges revoked for any further use of Community Center.
9. No alcoholic beverages permitted without prior approval from management.
10. Absolutely no smoking inside the Community Center.
11. No pets permitted in or around the Community Center.
12. Children must be strictly supervised at all times, by an adult, 18 years of age or older. Any neglect or misuse of the Community Center by a resident’s child/children will result in privileges revoked for the entire household. Management has the right to exercise this at any time. Children that continue to enter the Community Center without adult supervision will be removed immediately by management and parent(s)/guardian(s) will be held responsible with possible suspension.
13. Key tags must be returned to management with apartment keys when resident moves out. Any key tag that is lost, stolen, or not returned will result in a fee of $30.00.

Cyber Café
Hours:
Open 5:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Description:
The Cyber Café is located in the Community Center and is free to use for residents.
Rules and Regulations
1. Users may not install or download any program, file, or software updates onto the Cyber Café computers. Files created on the Cyber Café computers will not be private and will be deleted.
2. It is not acceptable to use Internet access for any purposes that violate U.S. or state laws, to transmit or receive material that is threatening, obscene, harassing, discriminatory, defamatory, or pornographic, or to interfere with or disrupt network users, services, or equipment. Disruptions include but are not limited to: distribution of unsolicited advertising, propagation of computer worms and viruses, and using the network to make unauthorized entry to any other machine accessible via the network.
3. Users may not alter or damage existing hardware or software, including but not limited to changing configurations, settings, and preferences. Creating auto-logins to your personal accounts is not allowed. This creates problems for other users and is a risk to your own privacy.
4. Users may make only authorized copies of copyrighted or licensed software or data. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure that copyright law is not violated and that authors/creators are compensated when applicable.
5. Users are advised to refrain from revealing their personal address, banking or credit card information on the Internet.
6. Children 17 years of age and younger must be accompanied by an adult when using any of the Cyber Café computers, including the Internet. Older children may use the Internet independently; however, monitoring what a child views on the Internet remains the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
7. The user is responsible for any damage caused to the Cyber Café computers and for any losses or damages sustained by the owner as a result of the user’s use of the computers.
8. Be certain that your Recreational Activities Waiver is signed and current.
9. No food or drink of any type is permitted near or in the Cyber Café .
10. Violators of the above will have their computer/Internet privileges permanently revoked.

Fitness Center

7. Food and alcoholic beverages are not permitted at any time. Closed plastic beverage containers are permitted.
8. Smoking is prohibited.
9. Secure all of your personal belongings. Home Properties is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
10. Please report all equipment malfunctions to the Property Manager.
11. Become familiar with the equipment before use.
12. It is strongly recommended that you consult with your physician before starting an exercise program.
13. If you feel faint, dizzy, short of breath, strained, or uncomfortable, stop immediately.

Picnic & Barbeque Areas
Description:
The picnic and BBQ area can be rented out during the summer months for $100.00 and is located at the pool.
Rules and Regulations
1. Grilling is not permitted within 15 feet of buildings, landscape, or other similar structures.
2. Please extinguish any hot coals before leaving picnic area.
3. Never dispose of hot ash in combustible containers.
4. Please dispose of all trash in the proper containers.
5. Picnic tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Playground
Description:
Rules and Regulations
1. Be careful. Use playground at your own risk.
2. No glass containers.
3. No alcoholic beverages.
4. No profanity, rough playing, or yelling permitted.
5. Please use equipment properly. No climbing on outside of equipment.
6. No throwing of objects.
7. No loitering or trespassing allowed.

Swimming Pool
Hours:
Open daily: 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Description:
Pool passes are required for entry into the pool area. Passes must be displayed at all times. Lifeguards are instructed to deny entry to anyone not displaying the current pass.
Passes may be obtained at the office. Passes that are lost should be reported to the office and can be replaced at a charge of $5.00 per pass. Any passes missing at move-out will result in a $5.00 charge, per pass, on your final billing statement.
1. All residents must sign in on the sign-in log with all requested information. Pool passes must be visible or access will be denied.
2. The pool is provided for the enjoyment of our residents. Persons desiring to use the pool who do not reside at our community may do so only when accompanied by an adult resident. Guest passes can be picked up at the office for $3.00 per pass. Please remember it is your responsibility to accompany your guests and to assure appropriate behavior.
3. Children age 13 years and under will be issued a Junior pool pass and are to be accompanied by an adult at all times. This supervision is required and will be strictly enforced. Older siblings will not qualify as adequate caretakers.
4. The pool hours may vary throughout the swimming season. If at any time the pool becomes excessively busy, the lifeguards may blow the whistle and everyone must clear the pool and walls for a 10-minute break. This is very important at high use times and is very beneficial to all.
5. Proper swim attire is required. No cut-offs, blue jeans, or thongs.
6. No alcoholic beverages are allowed. No glass containers are permitted in the pool area. This is for the safety of all. If abuse of this regulation persists, we will have no choice but to deny everyone the opportunity of bringing refreshments to the pool. Please place trash in proper receptacles.
7. Due to the depth of the pool, no diving is allowed. Running, water guns, ball playing, and boisterous play are not permitted in the pool area. Floating devices are not to exceed 24” in diameter and are for use in the shallow end of the pool only. Please remember floatation devices do not take the place of parental supervision.
8. Please take personal belongings with you when leaving the pool area. Management is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
9. Offensive language will not be tolerated and is cause for pool suspension.
10. Lifeguards are instructed by management to enforce these rules. Lifeguards have the authority to suspend pool use for anyone not obeying pool rules.
11. Children must be able to stand with their head above the water in the shallow end to be on allowed in the water without an adult. In order to go in the deep end, children must be able to swim the length of the pool on their own without stopping.
12. The arbor/picnic area can be reserved with advanced notice and approval from the office.

Video Library
Description:
Residents can sign out up to two DVDs or VHS tapes for 48 hours at no charge.
There will be a $3.00 per day late charge and a $1.00 fee for any tapes that are not rewound.

Description:
Your apartment includes your own personal washer dryer conveniently located in your apartment.
